Welcome to my website!

I grew up in a family where there was always good food on the table. I was inspired by my Mum who still loves to cook and create new appealing dishes for family and friends. I am just the same – I love spending hours in the kitchen experimenting and producing tasty food.

We have Autoimmune Diseases running in the family as well as Cancer, so my interest about the connection between what we consume and our health grew over the years. Slowly, my own health deteriorated to the point that traditional Western medicine was not helping much any more. My quality of life became very poor, so I felt it was necessary to take some extreme steps, one of which lead to my decision to study Nutritional Therapy at the Institute of Health Sciences in Dublin, where I graduated with distinction in 2012.

I haven’t looked back since. I loved studying the science of food and health and how the two are deeply intertwined. It all made total sense and completely transformed my life. I am so grateful that it also had a positive impact on the health of my loved ones. I feel healthy, happy, vibrant and I LOVE my job!

I set up my private practice in 2012 and have been seeing clients with all kinds of health issues since. I have a special interest in helping clients with Autoimmune Disease, Digestive Disorders and Cancer. I am also running weight loss and detox programs, and I am giving cookery demonstrations throughout the year.

I am attending regular CPD continued professional development courses throughout the year in order to keep informed on the latest research and development in nutrition, food and Functional Medicine.

I am a member of NTOI (Nutritional Therapists of Ireland) and a fully insured practitioner with clinics in Sligo Town (The Wellness Center) and in Cootehall, Co. Roscommon (Good Health Clinic).

Furthermore, I am a professional member of the Coeliac Association Ireland and a founding member of the Sligo/Leitrim Coeliac Support Group.
